If anyone has not only made his hobby his absolute passion, but also successfully turned it into a passionate profession, it's Terrance Drayton, who opened the well-known DRAY's in Ulm Söflingen with his wife Roana about 2 years ago!
"In 2016, after much consideration, I decided to quit my job as a data scientist and devote myself full-time to my hobby: cooking fine American food. No trainings or studying, I started right away. Because cooking is in my DNA!
We bought a food truck at "E-Bay", rebuilt it and a very short while later I was chugging along with my wife under the name "Dray`s Taste of Texas" through Ulm, Stuttgart and Munich.
It was a great time we really enjoyed and lots of people and customer we met "on the road" became friends. After four years of "food trucking" we decided to open a restaurant. For us, this was a lifelong dream that came finally true."
