Solo artist Julian Maier-Hauff weaves for you a tapestry of sound that immediately wraps you up and whisks you away in flight: analogue, electronic, playful, acoustic and most of all LIVE! On our rooftop terrace. All the music is improvised. Every note you hear is created on the spot. With trumpet, sax and trombone providing the contrast and complement to the electronics, blending together perfectly to create the overall sound.
Without computers or pre-prepared tracks, Julian Maier-Hauff takes the impressions of the moment and transforms them into grooves and songs for you. He plays around with the depth of fictitious spaces, combines celestial elements with driving beats, crystalline sounds with intricate melodies. In this way the instruments glide from one theme to the next – until the very last note fades into silence.
